INTRODUCTION OF WATCHING MEDIA

Watching Media is a national information releasing platform; it is the most authoritative information issuing platform on the Belt and Road Initiative; it is also an international political and commercial platform for high-level meetings.

The client app of Watching News was officially launched on September 16th 2015. It is an international political and commercial new media agency on One Belt and One Road Initiative, which pursues excellence in digging and spreading information. It aims to be the most influential new media brand and national information platform that based on China and covers all over the world.

SEEC Media Group, Alibaba Group and Tianshan Network jointly established the Watching Media, which has five major parts, namely: Watching News, Watching Fund, Watching Think Tank, Watching Xinhui Big Data and Watching Xinmeng Culture. The layout for Internet media has been initially formed and a closed cycle from brand impact to commercial value realized.

Watching News
The top-level communication managers dedicate to news report concerning politics, business and ideological field. The international mobile app provides multi-field media products including original high-quality reports, data analysis and audio/video. There are three platforms; mobile App, WAP and PC App are available for high-quality original stuff and reading experience.

One Belt and One Road Channel
It is the largest Chinese information platform concerning One Belt and One Road Initiative in China at present. One Belt and One Road Daily Politics and Business News, Dialogue on One Belt and One Road, One Belt and One Road –Think and Share, Leading Group on One Belt and One Road are the original columns of Watching. A series of high-level interviews, including the King of the Netherland, the chairman of the USDP, the EU and 65 ambassadors from countries along the routes have been conducted. The new media platform of exchanging information between countries along the routes has been constructed since its launch.

Watching Fund
Watching Fund is a non-profit foundation. It encourages writing and studies of original news through supporting the innovation and development of new media. Thus improves cultural exchanges and personnel training of countries along the Belt and Road. In the context of media transformation, global humanistic care projects and excellent research studies are highly valued. Smart Media Laboratory
Smart Media Laboratory is an advanced department of Watching. It focuses on data news, data visualization, data products, data analysis, news writing robot and robot assistants. The news writing robot project plans to cooperate with world’s leading companies, perceive computing technology and machine learning, research and develop intelligent products and explore new phase of news by means of big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence technology and pattern recognition. In this way, breakthroughs in fields of data capture, automatic writing, and news writing robot could be made.
